Like every other computer on market, Lenovo Computers come with many pre installed softwares & so called utilities claiming to enhance customer experience. Unfortunately, many of them they do harm more then make customers experience better. In past, there were serious problems concerning customer’s privacy were found with their applications like Superfish, LSE and Solution Center which were publicly acknowledged and removed. Now it is so called Accelerator which claims to enhance the performance of the system is under fire.
There’s a serious security vulnerability in Accelerator, which could allow someone to install a program on your computer by disguising it as an updated version of Accelerator.
Lenovo is therefore recommending that you uninstall Accelerator, if it’s present on your PC or laptop.
